Aaron Hernandez’s double-murder trial is serious business, but a mishap over his name doesn’t seem to be so crucial.

Jose Baez, Hernandez’s new lawyer, forgot the former New England Patriot’s name Tuesday in a Massachusetts courtroom. Baez introduced Hernandez as “Aaron Rodriguez,” drawing a wry smile from the defendant.

Hernandez is accused of shooting Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado to death in July 2012. On Tuesday, a judge scheduled his trial to begin on Feb. 13, 2017, giving Baez plenty of time to memorize his client’s name.

Hernandez already is serving a life sentence following his 2015 conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd.
