NCAA Football Rankings: Alabama Tops Preseason Top 25 Amway Coaches Poll

The defending champion Alabama Crimson Tide will open the new college football season as the top-ranked team in the nation.

Right behind them in the preseason Amway Top 25 Coaches Poll is Clemson, who lost to Alabama in the National Championship Game in January.

The SEC has more schools (three) in the top 10 than any other conference. Joining the Crimson Tide from the SEC is LSU at No. 7 and Tennessee at No. 10.
