Andrew Benintendi finally went yard.

The Boston Red Sox left fielder hit his first major league home run Sunday against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. Benintendi’s home run was a two-run shot to right field off Tigers reliever Shane Greene in the seventh inning.

It was a day of milestones for the 22-year-old, as Benintendi also hit his first triple in the sixth inning. Benintendi’s home run made the score 10-5 Tigers.
