The Boston Red Sox’s starting pitchers are in the midst of a strong August, but the same can’t be said for the bullpen.

The bullpen ran into more trouble Thursday, as Junichi Tazawa was charged with three earned runs in the bottom of the eighth inning without recording an out. That resulted in a frustrating 4-3 loss against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.
