David Ortiz always has time for the little people.
The Red Sox designated hitter crushed a historic two-run homer against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, giving Boston a lead in their 3-2 win. The home run was Ortiz’s 29th of the season, and it also marked his 1,500th RBI, joining Ted Williams and Carl Yastrzemski as the only Red Sox players to reach that milestone.
But before Big Papi sent that baseball into orbit, he stopped to take a selfie with a Boston fan at Comerica Park.
Ortiz certainly is having a lot of fun in his final season.
