Fantasy Football Rankings: Titans Players You Should Draft, Avoid This Season

The future appears bright for the Tennessee Titans, and they have plenty of good fantasy football options to prove it.

So let’s take a look at some Titans players you should draft, avoid and even one sleeper for your fantasy team.

DRAFT-WORTHY
DeMarco Murray, Running Back: Expectations are high for Murray in his first season with the Titans. He endured a down season with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, but he’s still the same running back that ran for 1,845 yards the year before. He won’t be selected at the top of the draft, but he’s a solid No. 2 fantasy running back around the fourth or fifth round.

Delanie Walker, Tight End: Quite simply, Walker was the Titans’ No. 1 receiver in 2015, despite being a tight end. Walker totaled over over 1,000 receiving yards as well as six touchdowns. He’s among the best tight end options after Rob Gronkowski and Jordan Reed, and he’s probably a candidate for the fifth round.

Marcus Mariota, Quarterback: The No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft didn’t exactly blow anyone away with his performance as a rookie, but he’s a good choice for your backup quarterback or even a replacement for Tom Brady during the first month if you pick him in one of the later rounds.

Dorial Green-Beckham, Wide Receiver: Green-Beckham had an OK rookie season, and he’ll likely be the Titans’ No. 1 receiver in 2015. He still is only a late-round draft candidate, but he had 549 receiving yards and four touchdowns in his first season in the league.

AVOID
Andre Johnson, Wide Receiver: The Titans have many question marks at wide receiver, but don’t expect Johnson to be the answer at this point in his career. Johnson only had 503 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 16 games for the Indianapolis Colts last season.

SLEEPER
Derrick Henry, Running Back: Murray will get the bulk of the load at running back, but the Titans’ second-round pick still should see plenty of game action in 2016. The 2015 Heisman Trophy winner had 2,219 (!) total rushing yards in his final season at the University of Alabama.
