Here’s What Conor McGregor Called Nate Diaz After Their Bloody UFC 202 Bout

Conor McGregor did everything in the book before and during UFC 202 to give the impression that he doesn’t like or respect Nate Diaz.

Well, apparently that’s not the case.

After the two exchanged verbal fire, water bottles and 25 minutes of blows to the face and body, McGregor whispered something in Diaz’s ear prior to receiving the verdict that gave The Notorious the majority decision victory.

It was revealed on UFC TV’s “The Thrill and the Agony” that McGregor actually shared some words of respect for his foe.

“Great fight brother. Great (expletive) fight,” McGregor told Diaz. “You’re a Mexican warrior. You’re a little Mexican warrior, brother.”

Don’t expect the two fighters to grab a couple of brews at a pub near you anytime soon, but it’s nice to see McGregor, whose fiery and boisterous persona makes him look cocky and arrogant at times, show some class and sportsmanship after an exhausting and emotional past few months.
