Hope Solo’s Reaction To USWNT Suspension: ’17 (Expletive) Years And It’s Over’

Hope Solo was suspended from the U.S. women’s national soccer team after the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio for her comments following the team’s quarterfinal loss to Sweden.

She put out a statement shortly after the suspension was announced, but thanks to the latest episode of the documentary “Keeping Score,” we’re able to see Solo’s unfiltered reaction when hearing of her suspension.

Solo obviously was quite upset that her career with the national team took this turn and is likely over, but quite frankly, she probably wasn’t going to play in the United States’ next major women’s soccer tournament, which is the 2019 World Cup. She’ll be 38 years old in 2019.
