Remember when Phelps sent the Internet into a frenzy during the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro by unleashing the most intense death stare ever before one of his races?
Well, the U.S. Olympic swimmer revealed Sunday night during the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards that he was listening to Future’s “Stick Talk” when he made the “Phelps Face” that soon became a meme sensation.
