Remember Ray Rice, Michael Vick, Aaron Hernandez, Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy and the countless other NFL players linked to heinous crimes? Well, apparently Colin Kaepernick is worse than all of them, if you ask some NFL front office executives.

The Internet takes on Kaepernick not standing for the national anthem are hotter than Phoenix in July, and apparently a few executives have pretty similar feelings of outrage toward the San Francisco 49ers quarterback.

Bleacher Report NFL writer Mike Freeman asked numerous executives about their thoughts on Kaepernick’s decision not to stand during the anthem as a form of protest against the recent killings of African Americans by police, and their distaste for Kaepernick was pretty glaring.

“I don’t want him anywhere near my team,” an executive told Freeman. “He’s a traitor.”

“He has no respect for our country,” another executive added. “F–k that guy.”

Another person told Freeman that they haven’t seen this much dislike for a player since Rae Carruth plotted to kill his pregnant girlfriend.

Unbelievable.

Well, unfortunately it really isn’t unbelievable, is it? After all, we are talking about a league in which Hardy was signed after he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend.

But not standing during the national anthem? Apparently that’s a bridge too far.
