There’s only one sport in the Olympics where the competitors aren’t human beings, and it kicks off Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
Equestrian is a long-standing fixture in the Olympics, having been part of the games for over 100 years. The Rio Olympics features three events on horseback — eventing, dressage and jumping — with team and individual competitions.
