One of the biggest stars of the 2016 Summer Olympics added another gold medal to her résumé Sunday.
Simone Biles dominated the women’s vault competition en route to her third gold medal in Rio de Janeiro. The USA star scored a 15.966, which was well ahead of Russia’s Maria Paeka (sliver) and Switzerland’s Giulia Steingruber (bronze).
Team USA’s Madison Kocian also earned an individual medal, grabbing silver in the women’s uneven bars. She finished just behind gold medalist Aliya Mustafina (Russia) and ahead of Germany’s Sophie Scheder (bronze) with a 15.833.
Team USA’s Gabby Douglas missed out on a medal, finishing seventh.
The men also competed Sunday in the pommel horse and floor exercise finals. Team USA’s Alexander Naddour earned the bronze medal in the pommel horse, with Great Britain’s Max Whitlock (gold) and Louis Smith (silver) finishing just ahead of him.
Whitlock also won the gold in floor exercise, beating out Brazil’s Diego Hypolito (silver) and Arthur Mariano (bronze).
