Olympic Track And Field Results: USA Wins Gold, Silver In Men’s Triple Jump

The United States men dominated Tuesday’s triple jump final at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro by winning the gold and silver medals.

Christian Taylor repeated his Olympic title from the 2012 London Olympic by winning gold with a jump of 17.86 meters. That’s a little less than 59 feet.

Will Claye won silver with a jump of 17.76 meters (a fitting number for an American).

Dong Bin won China’s first ever medal in this event by earning the bronze.
