Usain Bolt’s gold medal in the 200-meter race was the main event of Thursday’s Olympic track and field events, but there were plenty of other winners, too.

American Ashton Easton claimed his second consecutive gold medal in the decathlon with a score of 8,893 — an Olympic record.

Americans Dalilah Muhammad (women’s 400-meter hurdles), Ryan Crouser (men’s shot put) and Kerron Clement (men’s 400-meter hurdles) also earned gold medals. USA’s Ashley Spencer joined Muhammad on the podium as the bronze medalist in the 400-meter hurdles, and Joe Kavacs also won the silver in the shot put.

The USA women’s 4×100-meter relay team advanced to Friday’s final after getting a second shot following what originally was a disqualification for dropping the baton.
