Patriots’ Bryan Stork Reportedly Sidelined With Fourth Concussion In Four Years

New England Patriots center Bryan Stork once again is on the shelf because of a concussion, according to a report from the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe.

Stork has missed each of the Patriots’ last four training camp practices, including Thursday’s shortened session. Howe reported Thursday morning, citing a source, that the lineman’s absence is the result of a concussion suffered during Saturday’s practice.

If this report is accurate, it would be the fourth such injury for Stork in as many years. The third-year pro suffered one concussion during his senior year at Florida State and one in each of his first two NFL seasons. He missed three games during the 2014 campaign and the first eight games of last season.

David Andrews, Stork’s replacement for the first half of last season, has taken starting reps at center this week, with Josh Kline and Ted Karras also seeing time at the position.
