FOXBORO, Mass. — Nate Ebner was on the minds of the New England Patriots on Tuesday as they took the field for a joint practice with the New Orleans Saints.

Ebner and the United States rugby sevens team begin their quest for Olympic gold Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro, and several Patriots coaches showed their support for the special teams ace by wearing shirts with his name and his rugby number, 12, on them.

The U.S. Olympic sevens team will take on Argentina, Brazil and gold medal favorite Fiji in pool play, with the first game kicking off at noon ET Tuesday. Click the link below to see the full schedule.
