FOXBORO, Mass. — Julian Edelman gave New England Patriots fans a scare Tuesday by leaving practice early, but he returned to the field Wednesday.

Edelman entered the practice field roughly 15 minutes after the rest of his teammates. The wide receiver wore shells and shorts like the rest of the Patriots.

Starting left tackle Nate Solder, who missed practice Tuesday for undisclosed reasons, also participated in Wednesday’s joint practice with the New Orleans Saints.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola, running back Dion Lewis, tight end Bryce Williams, defensive end Rob Ninkovich, guards Tre’ Jackson and Jonathan Cooper and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer didn’t practice.
