A New England Patriots wide receiver soon could be on the move.

The Patriots are shopping wide receiver Aaron Dobson, sources told NFL Media’s Albert Breer on Tuesday. Dobson was selected in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft and appears to be on the roster bubble this summer.

Dobson has 53 receptions on 98 targets for 698 yards with four touchdowns in three seasons with the Patriots. His best season came in 2013 — his rookie year — when he had 37 catches for 519 yards with four touchdowns.

Dobson is competing with Keshawn Martin, DeAndre Carter, Chris Harper and Devin Lucien for the sixth and final receiver spot on the Patriots’ roster. Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan, Malcolm Mitchell and Matthew Slater are locks for the 53-man roster.

Dobson has six receptions for 86 yards in three games this preseason.
