Although the 2016 Rio Olympics have just begun, the USA swimming team is already prepared for the post-Games’ festivities.
The U.S. Swimming Federation on Thursday released a video in which America’s best swimmers and divers packed into cars and sang their hearts out together in a round of carpool karaoke. They chose famous pop songs that most participants knew. Viewers, feel free to sing along with them.
USA’s swimmers didn’t meet the standard James Corden set in his carpool karaoke jam sessions. So what? Corden is an entertainer. Michael Phelps and co. are athletes.
Besides, the quality of their karaoke sessions in Rio will depend on the outcome of their events.
USA swimming is looking like a good bet to amass an impressive Olympic medal haul. Doing so, combined with carpool practice, will make their next karaoke jam sessions the best ones.
