Watch James Harden Confront A Courtside Heckler Over Flopping Criticism

James Harden’s reputation precedes him.

The Houston Rockets star is known as somewhat of a flopper. His knack for embellishing things has earned him more free-throw attempts than most NBA players in recent years. This style of play didn’t sit well with one guy over the weekend, as Harden got into it with a heckler at a pickup game at the Drew League in Los Angeles.

A fan sitting courtside shouted at Harden and criticized him for flopping. Normally, Harden probably would just let the heckling slide — professional athletes deal with a lot — but the four-time All-Star decided enough was enough and confronted the boisterous critic.

Eventually, cooler heads prevailed, though not before the fan slipped in his verbal jabs. And you could say Harden won the war, if not the battle, as he was named the player of the game following a dominant performance.

Flop on, we suppose.
