Watch KHL Player Use Stick As Javelin, Launch It At Goalie For Shootout Goal

File this under one of the most insane goals you’ll see in any hockey league.

Vladimir Tkachyov of AK Bars Kazan (a KHL team) got into the Summer Olympics spirit in a recent shootout by using his stick like a javelin and hurling it — along with the puck — toward the opposing goaltender.

He actually scored, too. You have to see it for yourself to believe it.

Unless that goalie was aware it was coming, he must have been a little angry that a stick was thrown right at him. Seriously, that’s pretty dangerous.
