The powers of the human spirit and social media combined to prompt Michael Jordan to delight one of his biggest fans.
The NBA legend last week sent two boxes of branded athletic gear to Jeffrey Harrison — the 33-year-old autistic man who became an internet sensation in July for playing pickup basketball dressed as Jordan.
KREM 2 in Spokane, Wash., brought Harrison to Jordan’s attention after video of Harrison went viral. A few weeks later, Jordan made Harrison’s day with a note, a phone call and some new threads.
It sure is dusty in here, isn’t it?
