The USA Olympic men’s basketball team begins knockout-round play at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio on Wednesday night with a quarterfinal matchup against Argentina.
These teams have played in the knockout stages in each of the last three Olympics. Argentina defeated the U.S. in 2004 (Team USA’s last Olympic defeat), while the Americans prevailed in 2008 and 2012.
