Team USA is two wins away from Olympic gold, and it will face the same team it beat to earn gold four years ago.
The U.S. men’s basketball team squares off against Spain on Friday afternoon in the semifinals of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The U.S. routed Argentina in the quarterfinals, but it could face a stiffer challenge against a Spain team it beat by just seven points in the 2012 Olympic gold medal game in London.
The winner of this semifinal matchup will play the winner of Australia and Serbia on Sunday for the gold medal.
