What Do Fans Like About Red Sox Catcher Sandy Leon’s 2016 Season?

If someone told you in spring training that Sandy Leon would be the Boston Red Sox’s starting catcher in late August, you probably wouldn’t have believed them. But that’s exactly what happened, and it couldn’t be going any better for Leon and the Red Sox.

Leon has been a pleasant surprise at the plate for Boston with his .369 batting average, seven home runs and 26 RBIs in 49 games, and he certainly has Red Sox fans excited.

So what do they think about his 2016 season so far? We asked them in this week’s Budweiser question at Rock ‘n Coal in Bellingham, Mass., and you can see what they said in the video from “Friday Night Fenway” above.
