Allen Iverson entered the Basketball Hall of Fame with a thank you list that seemed to contain as many points as he scored in his legendary NBA career.

The ex-Philadelphia 76ers star joined basketball’s Hall of Fame ranks Friday in Springfield, Mass., along with Yao Ming and Shaquille O’Neal. Iverson answered the call by delivering a memorable speech at the enshrinement ceremony.

He thanked his family, friends, coaches, teammates, fans, inspirations, competition and just about anyone else he could think of in the half-hour address, which fluctuated between poignant and humorous. No matter where he was in the speech, Iverson appeared to be his most authentic self, sharing anecdotes about his life and career that add new dimension to his story.

And to top it off, Iverson even mentioned some things he learned in practice.

Yes. Practice.
