Asdrubal Cabrera Caps Walk-Off With Epic Bat Flip In Mets’ Wild Win

The New York Mets were robbed of a dramatic walk-off win Wednesday night, but Asdrubal Cabrera made sure the same thing didn’t happen Thursday night.

The Mets lost to the Braves on Wednesday when Atlanta center fielder Ender Inciarte made a ridiculous catch, robbing New York outfielder Yoenis Cespedes of a would-be walk-off home run to end the game.

On Thursday, however, Cabrera hit the ball where no one could catch it, launching a dramatic three-run walk-off homer with the Mets trailing by two runs in the bottom of the 11th inning, no less.

Cabrera made it even better with an incredible bat flip.

The win, like every victory from now until the end of the season, was huge for the Mets. New York currently is tied with the San Francisco Giants for the National League’s two wild-card spots, only one game ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals.
