Some fans have lost hope following the Buffalo Bills’ season-opening loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

A few Bills fans staged a mock funeral for Buffalo’s season Monday. They held a ceremonial flag removal and tilted their hearts, minds and bodies toward the Buffalo Sabres’ hockey season, which will begin on Oct. 13.

The Bills lost 13-7 to the Ravens on Sunday. We didn’t see the game, but Buffalo’s performance couldn’t have been death-inducing bad. Could it?

If it was, these Bills fans face a boring and mournful month while they wait for the Sabres to dash their hopes.
