The Chicago Cubs are the betting favorites to win the National League pennant and the World Series.
This might be the best Cubs team in a very, very long time. Expectations are high as a result, even though the franchise has come up short in so many key postseason moments since it last won the World Series in 1908.
Every Cubs fan will want to be a part of a once-in-a-lifetime championship run, but it will cost them a boatload of money just to get into Wrigley Field for one of the three possible World Series games in Chicago (Game 3 and 4, and Game 5 if necessary).
World Series tickets aren’t the only expensive ticket for the Cubs. The average cost of National League Division Series tickets at Wrigley are almost $1,000 on several secondary market sites. National League Championship Series ticket prices are even higher in some places.
The 2016 postseason promises to be very exciting on the North Side of Chicago. It just will be quite expensive for fans to witness the history firsthand.
