David Ortiz has been collecting retirement gifts from all over Major League Baseball this season, but it might be hard to top the tribute he received from a nonprofit organization in Cape Cod.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Big Papi the Great White Shark.

Big Papi (the shark not the Boston Red Sox designated hitter) was tagged by Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries biologist Greg Skomal, who was working with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, on Sept. 9. He’s about 15 feet long, and he was tagged in Wellfleet, Mass., according to The Boston Globe.

There’s no word on whether Ortiz will get to meet his namesake, but he does have a custom surfboard from the San Diego Padres, just in case.
