The Boston Red Sox’s offense has been elusive over their last couple of games, but they certainly showed up in the fourth inning in San Diego on Tuesday.

With Sandy Leon on first base, Jackie Bradley Jr. sent a screamer off Padres starter Paul Clemens into the center field seats at Petco Park to put the Red Sox up 2-0. But Boston evidently wasn’t done beating up on Clemens, as left fielder Chris Young hit a solo shot in his next at-bat.

Before the fourth inning, the Red Sox had scored only one run in their last 21 frames after a 1-0 loss to the Oakland Athletics on Sunday and a 2-1 loss to the Padres on Monday.
