Jimmy Garoppolo is unlikely to play in the New England Patriots’ Thursday night matchup with the Houston Texans after being listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report.

Garoppolo, who has a shoulder injury, was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. The Patriots’ only other quarterback on their roster is rookie Jacoby Brissett.

Garoppolo suffered a reported AC joint sprain in the Patriots’ 31-24 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. If Garoppolo can’t suit up, wide receiver Julian Edelman would serve as the team’s backup quarterback.

Here’s the Patriots’ full injury report.
