Dustin Pedroia got off his feet Tuesday night, but the Boston Red Sox second baseman doesn’t plan on missing any extended time.

After getting Tuesday off to receive treatment on a sore left knee, Pedroia is back atop the Red Sox’s lineup Wednesday for their matchup with the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. He’ll try to help Boston win its seventh consecutive game, as the Sox have taken the first two contests of their four-game series with Baltimore to open up a four-game lead in the American League East.

Clay Buchholz will take the hill looking to build on a solid outing last Friday against the New York Yankees in which he allowed two runs over six innings. The right-hander is 3-0 with a 3.54 ERA over his last five starts.

Andrew Benintendi also is back in the lineup batting ninth and replacing left fielder Chris Young, while Hanley Ramirez gets the night off in favor of Travis Shaw, who will play first base and bat fifth. The Red Sox will face Orioles right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez, who is 2-0 with a 3.52 ERA in his last three outings.
