Lost in the Boston Red Sox’s most important win of the 2016 season Thursday night was some early maintenance issues involving the garage door in left field at Fenway Park.

The minor hiccup occurred before the third inning as Eduardo Rodriguez warmed up for Boston. The door, which is located on the wall in foul ground, just wouldn’t close, forcing a brief delay until some hard-working employees were able to solve the problem.

Hats off to those who took care of business. The mishap caused a break in the action — roughly three minutes or so — but the show eventually went on.

And what a show it was, as the Red Sox won 7-5 when Hanley Ramirez launched a walk-off home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning.
