Tom Brady undoubtedly would rather spend his Saturday game planning for the Miami Dolphins with the rest of his teammates, but the suspended New England Patriots quarterback appeared to enjoy himself as an honorary captain at Michigan.

Brady played catch with Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh before the game against Colorado.

Brady told WXYZ-TV’s Brad Galli that he would speak to the Wolverines before kickoff and “use Jon Falk wisdom” in the speech.

Brady later spent time with Dolphins owner and Michigan donor Stephen Ross. The Patriots and Dolphins face off 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Gillette Stadium. Brady is not permitted to attend any Patriots game during his four-game suspension, per NFL rules.

Brady also played catch with his son at Michigan Stadium.
