Travis Shaw Ensures Shane Victorino’s Legacy Lives On In Red Sox Clubhouse

Shane Victorino hasn’t been with the Boston Red Sox since July 2015, but his presence still is felt in the clubhouse at Fenway Park.

Travis Shaw tweeted a photo at Victorino on Monday showing above his locker stall. The Red Sox slugger apparently had an opportunity to receive a new door free of some stickers Victorino supposedly left behind, but Shaw respectfully declined the offer in an effort to preserve The Flyin’ Hawaiian’s legacy.

Victorino spent just two-plus seasons in Boston after signing a three-year contract with the Red Sox in free agency following the 2012 campaign. He sure left his mark, though. Victorino produced some key hits during Boston’s 2013 World Series run, including a clutch grand slam in Game 6 of the ALCS against the Detroit Tigers.
