New England Patriots fans received an inside look at some of Bill Belichick’s sideline decision-making Tuesday night on Showtime’s “Inside The NFL.”

The Patriots coach was mic’d up during last week’s game against the Houston Texans, and the only clip from the segment posted to the Internet features Belichick making the final decision on whether Stephen Gostkowski would kick the ball out of the end zone for a touchback or in the corner to force a return. The choice to kick it shallow paid off, since Texans kick returner Charles James fumbled the ball, which the Patriots recovered for prime field position.

The segment also gave insight into what rookie Jacoby Brissett said to Belichick when the QB handed his coach the football after his first NFL touchdown.
