Clemson is hard enough to beat in general, but mental mistakes will significantly decrease your chances of winning even more.

That’s exactly what Georgia Tech did Thursday night against the No. 4 Tigers.

Yellow Jackets defensive back Lance Austin intercepted a Deshaun Watson pass in the end zone and made the mistake of trying to return it.

He ended up crashing into his own teammate around the 1-yard line, then fumbled the ball. Even though Georgia Tech recovered the ball, it was ruled a safety because Austin brought it out of the end zone.

Clemson won 26-7.
