The way the Premier League season is unfolding has taken some shine off Manchester United versus Leicester City, but the contest remains a marquee event.
The teams will face off Saturday at Old Trafford in the Premier League. Seventh-placed Manchester United has lost two consecutive Premier League games, and the home fans will be hoping the Red Devils’ midweek win in the EFL Cup can create enough momentum to lead them past the 11th-placed Foxes.
Leicester City is keen to avoid defeat, as another setback would be its third of the 2016-17 season, equaling last season’s total after just six games. The Foxes will rely on Jamie Vardy to provide goal-scoring punch, as he has done in three of his four games against Manchester United in all competitions.
