Watch Marshawn Lynch, Bear Grylls Go Beast Mode In The Wilderness

NFL fans are used to seeing Marshawn Lynch channel his inner “beast,” but they’ve never seen him actually hunt one — until now.

During an appearance on NBC’s “Running Wild With Bear Grylls,” the former Seattle Seahawks running back — with spear in hand — took on everything the wilderness threw at him, including a hog.

Other than hunting hogs and having Lynch “make a spear right-quick,” Grylls had Lynch climb cliffs, hone his machete skills and make an all-natural bed for the night.

“Beast Mode” isn’t the only NFL player that Grylls has brought on his show, as current Saints quarterback Drew Brees and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders also have taken a stab at the Grylls experience. President Barack Obama even has made an appearance.

Now retired, Lynch was a key member of the Seahawks’ 2014 Super Bowl championship team, and famously was denied the chance of helping the team repeat the following season against the New England Patriots.
