Andre Iguodala Overreacts To Groin Shot With Funny Flop In Warriors’ Opener

Andre Iguodala has work to do before his referee-baiting abilities reach peak form.

The Golden State Warriors forward comically overreacted to contact in or around his groin area and perhaps his chin Tuesday in their opening game of the 2016-17 season.

Late in the first quarter, San Antonio Spurs forward Kahwi Leonard reached to knock the ball from Iguodala’s grasp. Video shows the contact between Leonard and Iguodoala was minor, but the Warriors swingman’s reaction screamed “flagrant two.”

The referees didn’t seem to buy what Iguodala was selling. Neither are we, or the rest of the Internet for that matter.

The Spurs went on to beat Golden State 129-100 at Oracle Arena.
