The President has his Super Bowl pick locked in, and Barack Obama is banking on Tom Brady getting his revenge against Roger Goodell.

The New England Patriots began their season without their star quarterback after he was suspended four games for his role in Deflategate, but they still went 3-1 without him and are off to a 6-1 start. And that’s part of the reason why Obama picked the Patriots to beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LI.

“At this point, you’d have to put your money on Brady again,” Obama said Friday on “Sway in the Morning” on SiriusXM, via ESPN.com. “I don’t see any real strong teams. Seattle and Patriots have a rematch (from Super Bowl XLIX). That’s my call.”

The President also picked a winner for the NBA Finals, and it’s pretty unsurprising.

“I’m going to go with the (Golden State) Warriors just because of (Kevin) Durant, that addition,” Obama said. “I think they just have too much firepower. Although they just got spanked in their first game, so it will take a while to figure things out.”

The Warriors did indeed get spanked in a 129-100 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, but that was the Dubs’ first and only game so far on the young NBA season.
