Berkshire Bank Hockey Night In New England: Projected Bruins-Maple Leafs Lines, Pairings

What Auston Matthews did in his debut Wednesday night was one for the record books, although Brad Marchand had a pretty good game in the Boston Bruins’ opener, too.

Matthews’ four goals were the most by a player in his NHL debut, but even that wasn’t enough for the Toronto Maple Leafs to top the Ottawa Senators. The Bruins, on the other hand, opened their season Thursday night with a comeback win over the Columbus Blue Jackets, thanks to Marchand’s five-point night (two goals, three assists).

This rivalry usually has plenty of intrigue surrounding it, and Saturday should be no different, considering it will be Matthews’ first career home game.

Here are the projected lines and pairings for the 7 p.m. ET game at Air Canada Centre.
