Looks like the unofficial president of “Bills Mafia” is Team Brady.
Jim Kelly, the former Buffalo Bills quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer who led the franchise to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances in the 1990s, appeared on ESPN on Monday, and he didn’t mince words when asked who he thinks is the greatest quarterback of all time.
“I don’t mind saying that,” Kelly said. “The consistency every single year that he does it….(Wes) Welker’s gone, couple other guys are gone, he does have a great guy in (Rob Gronkowski)Â — a Buffalo guy. He makes it work and it doesn’t matter what it is.”
Brady’s 315-yard, four-touchdown performance during Sunday’s 41-25 victory in Buffalo surely is fresh in Kelly’s mind, and he — like every Bills fan — is probably tired of seeing it.
“I keep telling him, year after year, it’s time for you to retire.”
