The ACC Cross Country Championships featured at least one moment that should warm the hearts of sports fans everywhere.

Boston College’s Madeline Adams collapsed from apparent exhaustion just before she reached the finish line Friday at the ACC’s showcase cross country event.

Rather than pass by Adams, two runners stopped, picked her up and all but carried her across the finish line. Their names: Evie Tate of Clemson University and Rachel Pease of the University of Louisville.

ACC cameras captured the incredible scene, and the video is doing the rounds on the internet.

Take a breath or two, Tate and Pease. Now take a bow.
