Michigan leaped over Clemson in the latest AP Top 25 poll entering Week 8 of the college football season.

The Wolverines were idle in Week 7, but the Tigers barely survived an upset loss at home to North Carolina State. Clearly, the voters were not impressed by that performance.

Ohio State’s overtime win on the road against Wisconsin helped it keep the No. 2 spot, while the Badgers’ loss moved them down just a few spots to No. 10.

Tennessee fell from No. 9 to No. 18 after being crushed at home by top-ranked Alabama. Ole Miss remains in the top 25 at No. 23 despite suffering its third loss of the season. The Rebels were beaten by SEC foe Arkansas.

Here’s the full AP Top 25 poll for Week 8. As always, our weekly college football picks against the spread will be posted Thursday morning.
