Speaking Monday on WEEI’s “Ordway, Merloni & Fauria,” New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola shared his thoughts on Sunday’s pregame fight involving Jacoby Brissett, Malcolm Mitchell, several Patriots assistant coaches and a host of Buffalo Bills defensive backs.

Buffalo safety Robert Blanton shoved Brissett to spark the altercation — later saying the rookie quarterback and Mitchell had disrespected the Bills by jogging through their defensive drills — and safety Aaron Williams pushed Patriots defensive line coach Brendan Daly three times from behind during the scrap.

“It pissed me off, to tell you the truth,” Amendola said. “I’m not going to forget about that. … I saw that video (Monday) morning, and it pissed me off, to tell you the truth — pushing coaching and (expletive) like that.”

Mitchell, who got in Blanton’s face after the defensive back’s initial shove, said after the game he did what he believed was right in the moment. Amendola said he would have reacted the same way.

“He did the right thing,” the wideout said on “OM&F.” “I would have done the same thing. I wish I could have been there, too.”

The Patriots lost to the Bills 16-0 at Gillette Stadium to fall to 3-1 on the season.
