Did Joe Kelly Hook Debate Star Ken Bone Up With ALDS Game 3 Tickets?

There are plenty of perks that come with being the internet’s latest viral sensation. One of them, apparently, is free tickets.

Sunday night’s second U.S. presidential debate saw a star born in St. Louis native Ken Bone, who asked candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton a pretty straightforward question in the town hall format and became America’s darling in the process.

Bone and his now-famous red sweater made all the rounds on Twitter and apparently caught the eye of Boston Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly, who weighed in with his thoughts Monday morning.

Kelly didn’t stop there, however. According to his Twitter, the Red Sox reliever actually offered Bone tickets to Monday’s Game 3 of the American League Division Series at Fenway Park against the Cleveland Indians.

Bone hadn’t responded to Kelly’s tweet as of late Monday afternoon, so it’s a fairly safe bet we won’t see him at Fenway for Game 3. (Besides, there’s a good chance he’s a St. Louis Cardinals fan).

Still, it’s pretty awesome that Bone’s folk hero status earned him tickets to a postseason sporting event. Anything is possible, kids.
