The Boston Celtics won their preseason game Thursday, but they also had an injury scare.

Point guard Isaiah Thomas left the Celtics’ 107-92 win over the Charlotte Hornets in Greensboro, N.C., with what the team later called a “slightly sprained left wrist.” He suffered the injury on a collision with Hornets big man Roy Hibbert, who was setting a screen, during the third quarter.

Thomas was having quite the game before the injury, as he led all Celtics scorers with 15 points in 20 minutes. He also had five assists and shot 50 percent from the court and from 3-point range.

Fortunately for Boston, his injury doesn’t appear too serious.
