Have you always wanted to adorn your home with old sneakers? Well, you can for the low price of $3,000.

OK, so they’re not just any old sneakers, but rather a pair of Converse All Stars that Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird wore during his rookie season in 1979. The shoes, also signed by Bird, are up for auction at Leland’s.

According to Leland’s website, the green Converse were a gift to Harlem Globetrotters star Geese Ausbie. The bidding started at $500 and was over $3,000 as of Wednesday morning.

The auction ends Friday, however, so you unfortunately won’t have them in time for the Celtics’ season opener Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets at TD Garden if you decide to put in a bid.
